[01] Who we are
RHEA × SRINIVAS
Television Dust is a new media art practice by Rhea Fabian and Srinivas Vijayakumar, exploring art, technology and the human condition in an age increasingly shaped by computer intelligence.
Rhea is an artist and creative practitioner, and Srinivas is a musician and technologist. Together, they work across interactive installations, moving image, live visuals, sound and creative technology, using each project as a way to explore the relationship between art, science and the tools we create.
Music has been central to Television Dust from the beginning. Much of their early work grew from translating sound into images through music videos, live visuals and audio-visual performances. More recently, their practice has turned towards their own relationship with technology and what it means to be human within a rapidly changing technological landscape.

(02) POSITION
Technology is not an adversary. It is an extension of the human instinct to make, communicate and imagine.
Our current work explores ways of bringing the human body back into technological systems, using inputs such as movement, touch and heartbeat to create artworks that respond to the people experiencing them.
